Primitive is a Boom Bap beast and laces each performance with raw wordplay and mastery of flow.

He is a regular at gigs in Sydney and captivates the ears and minds of crowds with his raw talent.

Why the name Primitive?

The name Primitive all came about when I was working as a chef and an old sous chef was obsessed with the word. He said you can use it in any context and it just stuck with me.

Where did you grow up?

I grew up on in Qld on the Gold Coast.

Describe your Sound/Style?

I would describe my sound as bar-heavy boom-bap. Raw wordplay with a love of rhythm and flow.

How Long have you been Performing?

Been performing just over 4 years.

What inspired your music?

My music is inspired by my life and experiences. A lot of its focused on addiction, emotion, discovery and getting clean.

What are the best bars you have written or heard?

Best bars I gotta give to the legend Eminem. Anything from his 1st 3 albums is dope.

Who is your top 5 Artists Or producers or Albums?

What would be your dream collaboration with any Artist of any Genre?

I would love to do a track with Eminem or Elton john.

Advice for the upcoming artist?

Get out there and do as many shows as often as you can.

What are some current projects your working on?

Working on releasing 3 tracks and film-clips by June 2020.
