Xelf is an up and coming rapper hailing from Chicago but now repping Connecticut.

I was drawn to the confidence and creativity this young artist has and he will definitely be one to look out for and is holding his city down to the fullest.

He has a chilled out vibe and has the spirit of a true artist and he has some solid beats as well and works well with solid lyrics and delivery.

Because nobody can be you… they can try to imitate what you do and how you do it, but can’t be you at all…. and I’m original with everything I do

Where did you grow up?

I grew up in Chicago but moved back home to Connecticut my sophomore year of high school.

What Inspired your Music?

Everything around me inspired my music…. everything I went through and what I’m going through now… I look at situations in my life like damn I know there’s people out here that could fee what I’m talking about in the music

How Long have you been Rapping?

I have been rapping since high school… around my junior year was when I said ima take it seriously then took some time off cause of other things I was dealing with… and not too long ago I got back into the music

What are some current projects your working on?

I just dropped my EP “Don’t Count Me Out” last month and that’s been going crazy, I’m getting nothing but good feedback from it so that’s good…. but as of now I’m back in the studio working on my mixtape that I plan on dropping next year, and putting finishing touches on a couple of videos so we lit.

Advice for the Upcoming Artist?

Be your self … that’s it that all. Stay true to who you are and do what you feel is right. A lot is gonna come with this so just be prepared.
